1. Setting curfews may seem like a drag, but this will help teenagers will develop a strong sense of responsibility.
2. Teach teenagers how to walk away from awkward situations e.g. boyfriend asking for sex.
3. Also teach self respect.
4. And if they really want to become sexually active, make sure they use protection!
5. Schools for pregnant teenagers will let them get a decent education which will in turn allow them to provide for their family in the future.
6. Lastly, 'baby hatch' centers for single mothers who cannot cope will help curb the problem of baby-dumping.

Hello..i really think it is good that u posted this suggestion. i Believe self respect and religion is important. The fear of retribution and love for one self is a good barrier against the lure of the flesh.

ReplyDeleteYes I believe that self respect is important. If you respect yourself you wouldn't feel the need to "belong" or for love from others because you already love yourself!
Knowledge of how to protect themselves also helps.
Teenager pregnancy is getting serious nowadays. When teenagers get pregnant before marry, it will cause many social problems like babies unwanted.Therefore, as educator we should teach our kids how to say no for pre-marry sex and give give them sex education.

Really good suggestions you have there. Your suggestion no 3 (teach self respect) could not be more right. It’s the most important thing to do when dealing with this issue.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion regarding the issue: Maybe it’s time for Sex Ed being introduced in our syllabus. It is important to educate our young generation about the consequences of having unprotected sex. It is a part of prevention step and can be one of the ways to face the problem of teenage pregnancy. Prevention is always better than cure..

Therefore, they will never think twice on whatever they are planning to do with. We can't avoid them from having sex at their early age because they will tend to run from home or do anything reckless. We have to educate them to be more wisely and this info suits very well.
